Chris Wee

As the Chief Digital Officer at Omnia, Malaysia’s largest media group, Chris drives company and product strategy focusing on digital integration and innovation across mediums; Online, TV, Out Of Home, Radio & Print, stitching together audiences via data & adtech.

Omnia offers an integrated creative media solution that captures 98% of Malaysian audiences.

Part of the founding team of SAYS.com & REV Asia (now known as REV Media Group), Chris has a deep understanding of digital media and digital commercial strategy. Growing companies from start-up to mergers to acquisitions, Chris has a good grasp over building products, company culture and valuation. REV Media Group is now the largest digital media group in Malaysia, having the highest unique users on mobile above Google and Facebook in Malaysia (source; comscore).

Prior to SAYS, at Pfizer Nutrition Chris was the product manager for the company’s highest grossing product and pioneered the company’s digital transformation strategy. 

His mix of experience from business strategy, product management, digital marketing & innovation guides companies through a holistic journey of business strategy, culture and connecting companies with audiences.

Yumi An King

Yumi An King is an Executive Director & Founding Member,working at the intersection of storytelling, design, and emerging technology. 

She specializes in blending AI, film, music, art to craft creative work that resonates globally.

With a multicultural background Japan, South Korea and the US,  Yumi leads cross-border projects that bridge culture and technology.

Her journey began as a visual artist and painter—a creative lens that continues to shape how she builds, leads, and collaborates.

As a pioneering female founder, Yumi is one of the founding members of Aww Inc, Japan’s first virtual human company, giving rise to virtual humans like imma, who has amassed over 1 million followers and redefined the future of identity and self-expression. 

She has led original IP creation for global brands including Disney and Porsche, and uses storytelling as a force for change including Human Rights Watch. 

Yumi’s work has been featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, WWD and TED.

Tan Guan Sheng

Guan is a creator turned tech founder who’s passionate about empowering storytellers. He founded ITTIFY, a platform that connects brands with social media influencers using data-driven insights. The company was acquired in 2020 by iMedia Asia, part of Catcha Digital Berhad. Recognized in Forbes 30 Under 30 and Tatler Asia’s Most Influential in Media & Marketing, Guan has lived both sides—creating content and building the tech that enables it. Today, he works at the crossroads of human creativity and machine-scale distribution, building tools that help creators thrive.

Nandini Balakrishnan

Nandini Balakrishnan is an award-winning writer, video producer, and presenter who isn’t afraid to ask the uncomfortable questions. Her videos on begpacking, slut-shaming, and gender-based violence have been featured by the BBC and the European Union in Malaysia. Whether it’s tackling tough topics or sparking laughs online, she’s all about creating honest conversations around race, inequality, and the messy realities of modern life—with a healthy dose of sass and heart.

Yazmin Aziz
