Yumi An King

Yumi An King is an Executive Director & Founding Member,working at the intersection of storytelling, design, and emerging technology. 

She specializes in blending AI, film, music, art to craft creative work that resonates globally.

 

With a multicultural background Japan, South Korea and the US,  Yumi leads cross-border projects that bridge culture and technology.

Her journey began as a visual artist and painter—a creative lens that continues to shape how she builds, leads, and collaborates.

 

As a pioneering female founder, Yumi is one of the founding members of Aww Inc, Japan’s first virtual human company, giving rise to virtual humans like imma, who has amassed over 1 million followers and redefined the future of identity and self-expression. 

She has led original IP creation for global brands including Disney and Porsche, and uses storytelling as a force for change including Human Rights Watch.

 

Yumi’s work has been featured in Forbes, Bloomberg, WWD and TED.
